Ember & Easel Gifts offers handcrafted gifts, including but not limited to candles, greeting cards, artwork, home décor, and other artisan products. By using this website, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions and all applicable laws.

We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Changes become effective immediately upon posting.

 

2. Handmade Products

All products are handmade with care. Because each item is individually crafted:

• Slight variations in color, texture, size, scent, pattern, and finish are normal.

• No two items are exactly alike.

• Product photos are intended to represent the item as accurately as possible but may differ slightly due to lighting, monitor settings, and the handmade nature of our products.

These variations are not considered defects.

 

3. Pricing

All prices are listed in U.S. Dollars (USD).

Prices are subject to change without notice. Sales tax will be applied where required by law.

 

4. Orders

Once an order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation.

We reserve the right to:

• Cancel or refuse any order.

• Limit quantities purchased.

• Cancel orders due to pricing errors, product availability, or suspected fraudulent activity.

If payment has already been processed for a canceled order, a full refund will be issued.

 

5. Payment

We accept payment through secure third-party payment processors available at checkout.

Payment must be received before an order is processed or shipped.

 

6. Processing Time

Because our products are handmade, please allow 3–7 business days for order processing unless otherwise noted.

Custom or personalized orders may require additional production time.

 

7. Shipping

Shipping times are estimates and begin after processing is complete.

Ember & Easel Gifts is not responsible for delays caused by:

• Shipping carriers

• Weather

• Customs

• Holidays

• Incorrect shipping addresses provided by customers

Customers are responsible for ensuring their shipping information is accurate.

 

8. Returns and Exchanges

Due to the handmade nature of our products, all sales are final unless an item arrives damaged or an incorrect item is received.

If your order arrives damaged:

• Contact us within 5 days of delivery.

• Include your order number and photographs of the damaged item and packaging.

If approved, we will offer one of the following:

• Replacement

• Store credit

• Refund, at our discretion

Personalized or custom-made items cannot be returned or exchanged unless they arrive damaged or defective.

 

9. Cancellations

Orders may be canceled within 24 hours of purchase, provided production has not yet begun.

Once production has started, orders cannot be canceled.

 

10. Product Care

Customers are responsible for following all product care and safety instructions.

Candles

• Never leave a burning candle unattended.

• Burn away from children, pets, and flammable materials.

• Trim the wick before each use.

• Burn only on a heat-resistant surface.

Failure to follow candle safety guidelines may result in fire, injury, or property damage.

 

11. Intellectual Property

All content on this website—including photographs, artwork, logos, product names, descriptions, graphics, and designs—is the property of Ember & Easel Gifts and may not be copied, reproduced, or used without written permission.

 

12. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ember & Easel Gifts shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products or website.

Our total liability shall not exceed the purchase price paid for the product.

Your personal information is used solely to process orders, communicate with you, and improve your shopping experience. We do not sell or rent customer information to third parties.
